Fridays-Off wants everyone to be able to browse, shop and enjoy our store, including people who use assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We consider the site partially conformant: most of it meets the standard, and we are working on the parts that don't yet.
What we've done
- Every page and menu can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Pages use clear headings, labels and landmarks for screen readers.
- Product photos have text descriptions.
- Text and buttons meet color-contrast requirements.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap easily.
- The age check, menus and image carousels keep focus where it belongs and can be closed with the Escape key.
- We test pages with automated tools and by hand.
Known limitations
- Some product photos come from our suppliers and may be lower quality; we're replacing them over time.
- Checkout, payment and the age-verification pop-up are provided by third parties. We work with them on accessibility but don't fully control them.
